It is native to Brazil and is known to be quite a large plant. The plant itself can grow up to 36 inches in height.
So, if you are planting it in a pot you will need a deep one. Also, snails are attracted to the Neomarica, so be sure to take the necessary precautions to protect your plant.
The Neomarica blooms from late spring to summer and is miniature, iris-like flowers. They can either be yellow, white, or blue-purple in color.
